This is the page where I tell you a little about myself. I’m married to Jan and we have two boys, Ian ('94) and Mark ('96). Jan and I met while attending Crandall University in Moncton and were married in 1990.

In 2005, I completed the Arrow Leadership Program. This program, started by evangelist Leighton Ford, involves a two-year process of readings, assignments and 4 residentials with top evangelical leaders.

Our family is a musical one. I sing and play trumpet, horn, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and keyboard. Jan is a substitute music teacher, sings and plays piano and guitar. Ian plays drums, in addition to being a photographer.

Our other son, Mark, is a Sport Stacker. He holds current Canadian and provincial records in a number of categories.

I love being outdoors. Whether cutting wood with the chainsaw in the winter, hunting in the fall, boating and fishing in the spring and summer, or biking and camping, I enjoy getting outside.

And I love to write. In addition to this blog, I also write a blog for associate / youth pastors in two pastor churches, called Pastor of Everything Else. I hope the letter helps your faith in Jesus to grow.
